Pierrot Le Fou - a film (1965)
"Dissatisfied in marriage and life, Ferdinand (Jean-Paul Belmondo) takes to the road with the babysitter, his ex-lover Marianne Renoir (Anna Karina), and leaves the bourgeoisie behind. Yet this is no normal road trip: genius auteur Jean-Luc Godard’s tenth feature in six years is a stylish mash-up of consumerist satire, politics, and comic-book aesthetics, as well as a violent, zigzag tale of, as Godard called them, “the last romantic couple.” With blissful color imagery by cinematographer Raoul Coutard and Belmondo and Karina at their most animated, Pierrot le fou is one of the high points of the French New Wave, and was Godard’s last frolic before he moved ever further into radical cinema." - The Criterion Collection
One of my favorite features on my computer is the ability to take a picture of what is on the screen with a simple brush of the keyboard. While I was watching Pierrot Le Fou I took a few pictures this way, just little scenes that I liked from the beginning of the film and wanted to remember and share with you.
Bon appetite!

Lower Manhattan one cold night
Before you get too excited, these are mannequins in a window on Orchard Street in downtown Manhattan. I think the theme is for Valentine's Day.
This reminds me of West Side Story or something like that.
Is this a Neckface piece? I'm pretty sure it is.
Synagogue...
Self explanatory...
Let's get some shoes! hahaha.

The Irresistable Milkshake
Hmmm? I wonder who's Milkshake this is...? Doesn't seem to be anybody around...
My mouth is watering, I can't resist Milkshakes. All flavors are goooooood! Even strange Milkshakes left on the street are tasty...
Well, whomever left this here doesn't seem to be coming back for it. If they do come back they'll never know it was me...

Video - Tax Time & this guy is happy about it
This guy was using his advertisement as a sword and prop for a variety of moves. I'm going to guess that he is one of the few people happy at Tax time this year. I took this in Astoria.

Billy Dee Williams still pushin Colt 45
I love that Billy Dee Williams is still pushing Colt 45! How many years have they been sponsoring him? I had to stop and get a picture. Do people even remember who he is? I think he's best remembered for his role in the original Star Wars Movies.
Billy Dee Williams graduated from the same High School as me in New York City, Fiorello H. Laguardia H.S. Also known as the FAME school. Billy Dee Williams wasn't a drama major like you would expect . He was a visual arts major with a love for painting. I have seen some of his paintigs and they are amazing!

My other blog likes brains
I have created another blog. It's nothing like this one except there are pictures and things I write. Okay, so it's a little like this one but it's all about or related to zombies!
Bet you didn't think I had so many thoughts about the undead. But I do!
WARNING: My zombie blog is not for the faint of heart.

It is your home for all things zombie related by me. Bon appetite!
